Team Lead, Policy and Advocacy, Sewa International – To bolster the fight against the on-going COVID-19 pandemic in India, Sewa International gave a platform to the people who are willing to help as COVID e-helpdesk volunteers. The work on policy and advocacy while not considered urgent at the moment, was however considered important to understand (i) how digital healthcare has become of eminence and how to further strengthen it, and (ii) how to understand vaccine hesitation amongst people so as to encourage them for vaccination using behavioural approach.
Regional Focal Point, Humanitarian Affairs Working Group (HA WG), United Nations Major Group for Children and Youth (UN MGCY) – Adhered to the mandate of the HA WG in Central and South Asia. I, also, successfully led the creativity competition campaign and co-hosted the webinar organized on the occasion of the World Humanitarian Day 2020.
Columnist, The Economic Trail – I wrote weekly articles on various topics and issues for three months (January-March 2016) which were published in the online magazine (now discontinued).
Fellowships
Global Policy, Diplomacy, Sustainability (GPODS) Fellow, offering opportunity to learn and understand these three intensive courses from experts across the globe via mentorship, workshops and sessions.
Anubhav Fellow (Anubhavi), Anubhav Lecture Series organized by Harris School of Public Policy, University of Chicago. Anubhav is a first of its kind initiative to bring together leaders from across India to support and nurture them to increase the scope and sustainability of their social impact.
P3E Fellow, Public Policy Program for Executives (P3E), Vision India Foundation, worked on the hands-on-project “Implementation strategy of SDG-3 for District Administration” under the guidance of Dr. Anurag Goel (Retd. IAS), Advisor to UNDP.
Policy in Action Fellow, Young Leaders for Active Citizenship (YLAC- India), worked on a policy research project concerning “Impact of changing Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ)”, where we analyzed the CRZ notifications of 1991, 2011, and the draft notification of 2018 along with studying the best practices across the globe. The research was undertaken as part of YLAC’s Policy in Action Program with the intent of supporting the work of Members of Parliament of India.
